This event is for MHS students in grades 8 - 12 and their parents to gain information about educational opportunities at one, two and four year colleges as well as many possible career fields. Career fields  that will be represented include: carpentry, agriculture, business, graphic design, photography, child development, nursing, plumbing, manufacturing, mortuary science, and many more! It will be an open house style format, where participants can come  and go as needed, visiting the various booths and talking with the representatives.

Students will sign in at the TACC entrances at the information tables.  There will be a complimentary supper served for students and their families, thanks to a grant from SWWC Initiative Fund and Jennie-O Turkey.  The supper will include hot turkey sandwiches, salads, chips, dessert and a drink.

In addition, there will be a Financial Aid (FAFSA) meeting held for seniors and their parents at 6:00 p.m. in the TACC meeting room (watch for signs).  Natasha Boe, SMSU, will be there to present important financial aid information and to answer any questions.

Some high school classes will also be offering extra credit to those who attend this event.  We hope you are able to join us on October 25th!
